Starting from January 2019, the Korean National Health Insurance rate which consist of Medical insurance and Long term care insurance has been raised.
The Medical Insurance will be increased from 6.24% to 6.46% of the wage, which 50% of it borne by the Employer and the rest by the employee. The Long term car insurance will be increased from 7.36% to 8.51% of the Medical insurance amount and will be paid by Employer and employee equally.
